The Bach 42 is an amazing piece of equipment, one of the most common professionally used orchestral trombones in the world. Has a huge sound that can really fill up a performance hall, yet it blends perfectly with other instruments in an orchestra or wind band. Performs very well at extreme dynamics, tone still stays solid even at ff-fff and pp-ppp. The open wrap F attachment helps keep your tone consistent with the valve open vs. closed, and the valve action itself is very smooth and quick. I’ve heard people say that they’re had issues with it, such as a stuffy high range and somewhat slow response
