1958 Olds Studio Trombone (fullerton) With Skb360 Case

I love this horn, but I have way too many, and after much deliberation, I have decided to let this baby go. I bought this horn from a friend about 5 years ago when I was looking for a good beater horn, especially for marching in parades. This was my first introduction into the world of Olds, and couldn’t be happier. According to the serial number of 333XXX, it is dated to 1958, and is a Fullerton model. This horn is very light and has a lot of power behind it. You can even blast without redlining and play very softly without the tone breaking up. If you are an Olds aficionado, then you know all about how great the Studios are. Because of the light weight and great power in this horn, I used it for marching for about 4 straight years. Last year, I had a cleaning and alignment done by a top level tech guy outside of Cleveland, Ohio (you can ask who he is privately), and he really cleaned up the 2 tone bell for me, which is a very cool design. He did as much as he could for the slide, which helped, but part of the inner stockings have been wearing down. I would rate it a 7 out of 10. You can always pick up a slide from a different Olds, or go the higher money route and replace the slides completely. The original case I threw out when I got this horn because it was barely being held together. So, I bought a brand new SKB-360 case from eBay the same day and this horn has nestled in there ever since, and it is in great condition, with a few scratches here and there.I cannot adjust shipping prices because they are based on the size and weight of the boxes I use. However, if shipping on my end ends up being cheaper, I will happily issue a partial refund. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.Due to a large number of buyers not paying for their winnings, I require payment within 2 days. If I do not receive cleared payment by then, I will open up an unpaid item case through eBay, which will give you 4 days to pay, or you will get a strike against your eBay account. If you require more time for payment, I will be happy to wait even up to a month, but you must contact me once the item is won by you.
